in battle

Squall and Co. battle Fujin twice in this game. The first time is at Balamb. Immediately after you fight Raijin with two guards and defeat them, Raijin runs to Fujin and you have to fight them, with no break in between. This can be difficult or not, depending on the amount of healing spells you can obtain; it's not hard to get to the next level, but staying alive in that level can be tricky. Fujin absorbs wind magic, and Raijin absorbs thunder, so plan accordingly. She uses strong magic, but they just pass through reflect so don't bother. Fujin is actually kind of helpful in this battle, as she has cure magic you can draw. Whatever you do, DO NOT forget to draw Pandemona from her. One time through the game I completely forgot. Don't be a loser like me.

The second time you battle Fujin is again with Raijin, but this time on disk 3, in the Lunatic Pandora. Basically use the same strategy as the battle in Balamb, only they're stronger. My very first time I played the game I had no concept of junctioning, and it killed me; I could not beat them, I had to completely restart the game. So, make sure you are junctioned correctly, as this fight can be tough. One good thing to have is phoenix, as there is a chance he may revive you. As for the good points, Fujin and Raijin have better magic to draw, and you have Doomtrain and Cactuar now (hopefully!), which are extremely effective against the two.

Wait, why am I telling you how to kill her? Well, I guess she doesn't die...so it's ok.
