‘… How can they say we’re paying for our sins?

How can they say that, because of all the mistakes woven into the seams of humanity’s history, we owe this world a… Penance, they… They act as if the suffering of our world is merely the interest being repaid on an unwritten debt…

They're fools. They're fucking fools. They blame the past for the mistakes they continue to make. We’re all fools.

These people blame the darkness in our world for the suffering, and not themselves. They lie to themselves...

I lied to myself... I lied to Julia... I let her die...

When I look into the mirror and into my eyes…

I can see the savagery hidden deep inside them. And I can only blame myself…

Myself…’

The fluorescent light in the room flickered intermittently, illuminating the small, dark room every few seconds with a gentle, sapphire glow. The walls were a dark concrete cobalt, the floor an assembly of steel paneling that quilted in a different pattern every couple of feet. The cheaply assembled flooring was moist, for the sink at the far end was cracked, dripping forth water against its rusting surface. The water in the sink suddenly stopped running, as the dark haired woman stood doubled over, water running down the surface of her face and dripping against the porcelain. She breathed heavily, bent over and opening her eyes slightly, looking sideways at the strands of hair dark hair hanging from her head, dripping water periodically into the sink.

For a moment, she didn’t move. She just thought, and soon after that, she ceased thinking. Her eyes just stared intently at the water running down into the drain and her eyes closed, almost painfully.

The dark haired woman’s fingers gripped at the shoddily made sink, wanting to break it, wanting to break something. Her hands suddenly, slowly, began to slip from it, and she slid down to her knees. Evelina Maruska began to cry silently in the dark, her hands hanging from the edge of the porcelain basin.

'...I let her die...'

I've set up a separate webpage to use as an openly edited database for story related info that we don't want our lovely, beautiful, ever so appreciated readers to see, such as plot outlines, detailed background info, ect. The format will be simple body of text (think of a gameFAQs guide). Authors, talk to me, Link or Liz to get the location, username, and password to the site.

Yes, I know that as there are a grand total of two other authors to tell, it would be easier just to talk to them directly. However, I really want to make an announcement of some sort. >_>

I'm a sad, sad man.

For the uninclined, and those who actually read these crappy updates...

The entire, sixteen person cast is up. Give them a hand. Two of the bios are as of yet, incomplete, but will be up soon. The basics of the story are also posted up, to the right. But thats pretty obvious.

And finally, we have our sixth, and final, writer. Ami will be writing for the character Kaori, and her AIM, for those who wish to be in contact with her, is Epitome Twelve.

So, myself, Liz, Sylpheel, Calliope, Haystack and Ami are the final list of writers. We'll have to do mini bios of ourselves to go in the Basics section. ;) I feel so proud.

I'm bored. This update may have been useless, but its fun none the less.
